Future Continuous Futuro Continuo

El futuro Conituno tiene dos diferentes formas: " Will be doing" y "Be going to be going". A diferencia del futuro Simple, en el futuro COntinuo ambas formas son intercambiables.

FORMAR Futuro Continuo con "Will"

[will be + presente Participio]

Ejemplos:

• You will be waiting for her when her plane arrives tonight.
• Will you be waiting for her when her plane arrives tonight?
• You will not be waiting for her when her plane arrives tonight.

FORMAR Futuro Continuo con"Be Going To "

[am/is/are + going to be + presente participio]

Ejemplos:

• You are going to be waiting for her when her plane arrives tonight.
• Are you going to be waiting for her when her plane arrives tonight?
• You are not going to be waiting for her when her plane arrives tonight.

RECUERDA: Es posible usar cualquiera de los dos, para crear un Futuro Continuo con una pequeña diferencia

USO 1 Acciónes interrumpidas en el Futuro

Usamos el Futuro Coninuo para indicar que una acción larga esta en el futuro sera interrumpida por una acción corta en el futuro. Recuerda que esta puede ser una interrupción real o solo una interrupción en el tiempo

Ejemplos:

• I will be watching TV when she arrives tonight.
• I will be waiting for you when your bus arrives.
• I am going to be staying at the Madison Hotel, if anything happens and you need to contact me.
• He will be studying at the library tonight, so he will not see Jennifer when she arrives.

Notece en los ejemplos anteriores que las interrupciones marcadas con "Italicas" esttan en Presente simple en lugar de Futuro Simple. Esto es porque las interrupciones son clausulas de tiempo, y no puedes usar oraciones en futuro con Clausulas de tiempo

USO 2 Tiempo especifico como una interrupción en el Futuro

En el Primer uso, el Futuro continnuo es interrumpido por una acción corta en el futuro. En adición a usar acciónes cortas como interrupciones, tambien podemos usar un tiempo especifico como interrupcion

Ejemplos:

• Tonight at 6 PM, I am going to be eating dinner.
  
  I will be in the process of eating dinner.
• At midnight tonight, we will still be driving through the desert.
  
  We will be in the process of driving through the desert.

RECUERDA

En el futuro Simple, un tiempo especifico es usado para mostrar en el tiempo que una acción comienza o termina. En el Futuro continuo, un tiempo especifico interrumpe la acción

Ejemplos:

• Tonight at 6 PM, I am going to eat dinner.
  
  Empezare a cenar a las 6PM
• Tonight at 6 PM, I am going to be eating dinner.
  
  Voy a empezar antes, y voy a estar en proceso a las 6PM.

USE 3 Parallel Actions in the Future USO 3 Acciones paralelas en el Futuro

Cuando usamos el Futuro Continuo con dos o más acciones en la misma oración, expresa que la idea de ambas acciones van a suceder al mismo tiempo. Las Acciones con Paralelas

Ejemplos:

• I am going to be studying and he is going to be making dinner.
• Tonight, they will be eating dinner, discussing their plans, and having a good time.
• While Ellen is reading, Tim will be watching television.
  
  Nota"is reading"porque la clausula de tiempo es "while."

USO 4 Atmosfera en el Futuro

En inglés, seguido usamso una serie de acciones paralelas para describir atmosfera en un punto especifico del futuro

Ejemplo:

• When I arrive at the party, everybody is going to be celebrating. Some will be dancing. Others are going to be talking. A few people will be eating pizza, and several people are going to be drinking beer. They always do the same thing.

RECUERDA No hay futuro en las Clausulas de Tiempo

Como todos los tiempos futuros, el futuro continuo no puede ser usado en clauslas de tiempo como: when, while, before, after, by the time, as soon as, if, unless, etc. En vez de usar el Futuro Continuo, usamos Presente Continuo.

Ejemploss:

• While I am going to be finishing my homework, she is going to make dinner. Incorrecto
• While I am finishing my homework, she is going to make dinner. Correcto

AND REMEMBER Non-Continuous Verbs / Mixed Verbs RECUERDA Verbos no Continuos / Verbos Mixtos

Es importante recordad que los Verbos no Continuos no pueden ser usados en tiempos continuos. En lugar de usar Futuro COntinuo con estos verbos, debemos de usar el Futuro Simple

Ejemplos:

• Jane will be being at my house when you arrive.Incorrecto
• Jane will be at my house when you arrive. Correcto

UBICACIÓN DEL ADVERBIO

Los ejemplos siguientes nos muestran como ubicar gramaticalmente los adverbios, tales como: always, only, never, ever, still, just, etc.

Ejemploss:

• You will still be waiting for her when her plane arrives.
• Will you still be waiting for her when her plane arrives?

• You are still going to be waiting for her when her plane arrives.
• Are you still going to be waiting for her when her plane arrives?

ACTIVO / PASIVO

Examples:

• At 8:00 PM tonight, John will be washing the dishes. Activo
• At 8:00 PM tonight, the dishes will be being washed by John. Pasivo

• At 8:00 PM tonight, John is going to be washing the dishes. Activo
• At 8:00 PM tonight, the dishes are going to be being washed by John. Pasivo

NOTA: La forma passiva del Futuro Continuo no es común
